Ariake means “daybreak” in Japanese and the furniture-producing company of the same name also bestowed it on designer Gabriel Tan’s signature armchair. A harmony of both hand work and advanced machining, it’s crafted in solid natural oak or stained ash, with the comfortably pliant seat made of a sturdy textile strapping in a basketweave.
