Figra Table Light

Description

Simon Schmitz’s Figra sets two simple volumes against one another — one of light, one of solid color — and holds them in balance. Schmitz, who trained in art before turning to lighting, treats the collection as an engineering problem solved in geometry: contrasting forms that meet without quite resolving. Sculptural at any hour, and quietly altered once lit.
